The new **Decomposition Tree** visualization lets you break down measures step by step and uncover key insights with precision. The **enhanced legend for Network Graphs** brings clearer navigation and hierarchy interpretation. Alongside these major updates, refinements across existing visuals deliver greater flexibility and accuracy in building dashboards. New Chart Type - Decomposition Tree A major feature addition this month is the Decomposition Tree visualization. This powerful chart type helps you **break down measures step by step**, explore hierarchies, and uncover key contributors within your data, all within a single, interactive visual.

#### 1.1. Layout Options – Tile, Progress Bar, Card The Decomposition Tree introduces **three flexible layout styles** that let you present hierarchical data in the way that best suits your analysis. * The **Tile layout** offers a clean, compact look by placing category labels inside the bar itself, making it ideal for dense hierarchies.

* The **Progress Bar layout** provides the familiar horizontal bar view, displaying the progress of items with full control over scaling.

* The **Card layout** displays values in a simple, KPI-style format that’s perfect for at-a-glance insights.

#### 1.2. Show Header - Minimum and Maximum Child Values The Decomposition Tree includes a **Show Header** toggle in the **Canvas settings**, allowing you to display clear summary headers for each hierarchy level. When enabled, headers appear above the tree and provide an at-a-glance view of key values for each field. These headers display the **maximum and minimum child values for each level**, along with formatted colored arrows that highlight performance trends.

#### 1.3. Canvas Density, Expand Level & Default Actions Control the node spacing with the **Tree Density** setting (Dense, Default, Sparse) and define how many hierarchy levels are shown by default using **Expand Level**.

You can also set default click actions for nodes; choose **Collapse/Expand** to navigate the hierarchy or **Highlight/Filter** to cross-filter other visuals. #### 1.4. Line Styling Options The Decomposition Tree now offers flexible line styling controls. You can choose between **solid**, **dotted**, **or** **dashed** lines, adjust their **width**, and select from **straight**, **curved**, **or** **spline** line types.

You can also set **colors for selected and unselected lines** and enable **arrows** to clearly indicate directional flow within the hierarchy. #### 1.5. Scale Options The Decomposition Tree includes **flexible scaling controls** for bars, allowing you to choose how values are proportionally represented. You can scale bars relative to the **Top Node, Parent Node, Level Maximum,** or set **Custom start and end points** for full control over comparisons.

#### 1.6. Size and Formatting Options You can now fine-tune the **bar size and appearance** in the Decomposition Tree by adjusting **width** and **height** and customizing the **background, border, and card background color**. These options give you greater control over the visual presentation of your layouts.

#### 1.7. Data Labels & Child Count The Decomposition Tree offers granular control over data labels, letting you **show or hide** **Category**, **Value**, and **% Contribution** individually. You can adjust their positions or display them inline for a cleaner layout.

Additionally, you can enable **Child Count** to display the number of subcategories directly on each bar, making hierarchies easier to interpret at a glance. You can also format labels **individually or as a group**, with options to **adjust text size, weight (bold), and color** for better readability and visual emphasis.

#### 1.8. Conditional Formatting Apply conditional formatting to display positive and negative values distinctly. You can set colors by **category**, **measure**, or use **custom rules**, making it easy to highlight performance trends at a glance.

## 2. Network Graph – Legend Enhancements Network Graph visuals now support **legends for categorical, multi-level hierarchical data**, making it easier to read and navigate complex relationships. Legends mirror other chart types and can display multiple levels (e.g., *Country > Region > State*) with options to highlight, include, or exclude categories for quick analysis. To enable this, go to **Canvas settings**, switch the **Color Mode** from *Fixed* to *Dynamic*, and turn on the **Legend**. You can also **expand or collapse all nodes** in hierarchy mode with a right-click, making it simple to explore large networks.

## 3. Donut Chart – Custom Measure in Center Label The center label of the Donut Chart can now display **custom tooltip measures**, not just totals. A new dropdown in the “Total” section lets you select any configured measure or hide the label altogether, giving you more flexibility to highlight key metrics.

## 4. Gantt Chart – Time zone Support for 'Today' Reference Line Reference lines set to 'Today' now use **current UTC time**, ensuring accurate representation of today’s date across different time zones.
