# OPENSEARCH

Use variables, on-load, and on-data-change scripts to open the Search interface without requiring access to the toolbar.

### Syntax

```javascript
OPENSEARCH()
```

### Example

Create a button variable to call the OPENSEARCH function.

Users can click the Search button variable and do not need access to the toolbar to search their data.
