# AVERAGEIF

The AVERAGEIF function returns the average of the filtered values that satisfy the given condition.

## Syntax

```javascript
averageif([Range], Condition)
```

## Arguments

Range – List of values. This is a required argument.

Condition – Condition to be checked. This is a required argument.

## Example

```javascript
averageif([Column1],[Column2], “>10000”)
```

Returns the average of Column1 and Column2 if they are above 10000
