The Focused Text Filter enables users to apply filter selections as they enter search terms. It can also function independently as a standalone search filter visual.

How to Configure Focused Text Filter

1. Unified search is enabled only in Facet Filter Mode.

2. Navigate to the Search Tab and click on the search icon to switch the search mode to Focused Text Filter.

3. Go to the Format Pane and Navigate to Tool Bar → Search Bar → Search Category. Select the desired category to filter data effectively in Focused Text Filter.

4. Input a category-specific query to retrieve results relevant to the selected category.

5. When a query is entered in the focused text filter, it dynamically selects the corresponding item in data.

6. If Focused Text Filter is used exclusively, disable Display settings and configure the filter to function solely as a search filter.
