# 1. Sync Slicer

The **Sync Slicer** feature ensures that copied visuals maintain and reflect the latest filter selections when pasted onto different pages. This functionality allows for seamless synchronization of filters across multiple pages, providing consistency and saving time in managing filters.

### Steps to Sync Slicer:

1. Select the visual you want to sync and press **Ctrl+C** to copy it.
2. Go to the page where you want to paste the visual and press **Ctrl+V**.
3. A pop-up called **Sync Visual** will appear:
   * Click **Sync** to synchronize the selected slicer value across all pages where this feature is applied.
   * Click **Don't Sync** to prevent synchronization of slicers across pages. This will paste the visual with the latest filter selection from the current page but without syncing slicer selections across other pages.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.inforiver.com/super-filter/tips-and-tricks/1.-sync-slicer.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
