This section features the steps to get you started with EDITable.
EDITable is a custom visual in Power BI. The first step to using EDITable is to add it to the Power BI canvas before we start working on it.
Add visual
Click on the EDITable icon from the Visualizations pane. Resize it to fill the entire screen.
EDITable primarily offers two ways to manage your data:
Use an existing table - If your data is already residing in any of the supported databases, you can simply connect to the data in DirectQuery mode and assign the fields before customizing and managing it.
Create a new table - If you need to create a table from scratch, or if you want to migrate your existing data from spreadsheet files (.xlsx or .csv formats) to the databases, you can use this option to load your model.
