📧SMTP Service

To enable email notification from Inforiver, we need SMTP service connection details. Following are the details that we would require for the Inforiver deployment.

If you want to use your O365 mail server, you can do that at later stage through the management portal itself. In that case, please provide dummy values so that this would pass the validation.

• SMTP Host/Server Address: Hostname or ip address of the email server that Inforiver can connects to. (eg: mail.contoso.com)

• SMTP Port: Port number of the server which Inforiver can connects to. (eg: 25 or 587)

• SMTP Username: Username of the service account, that Inforiver can use to authenticate with the mail server. It could be email address or in some service it would be simple username. (eg: inforiver_service_account or [e-mail])

• SMTP Password: Password of the service account, that Inforiver can use to authenticate with the mail server.

• SMTP From Email: If your mail server supports different from email address, then you can use this field else, please provide the username here itself.

Make sure to collect the above details from your mail server administrator before deployment. But you would be able to change these settings after deployment too.
