The KPI toolbar has 5 tabs that enable you to:
Assign presets
Customize the variance metric
Change the chart type
Format KPI metrics
Set number formatting
From the presets tab, you can choose from a range of presets including simple presets and variance presets.
You can choose to display or hide the positive and negative variance icons. Enable the toggle to display the icons.
The size of the icons varies based on the magnitude of the variance. For bigger variance values, the icons will be larger and for smaller variance values, the icons will be correspondingly smaller.
You can enter custom text to be displayed as the variance identifiers.
You can change the variance icons either by choosing from the built-in icons or by uploading a custom icon.
You can display the actual variance or show the variance as a percentage. You can also display both.
You can display a border for the KPI metrics section based on the variance. You can set the thickness of the border and choose the variance metric that drives the border. In this case, we have chosen a bottom border with a thickness of 2px based on the variance in plan - if the variance is positive, the border will be green; if the variance is negative, the border will be red.
You can seamlessly switch between a range of chart types by clicking on the chart that is best suited for your data. In this case, we have switched to a qualitative bullet chart.
You can choose where to display the KPIs with respect to the chart. In this case, we have displayed the KPIs to the left of the chart.
The font size of the KPI metrics is adjusted proportionally to the panel size - the size decreases if the panel size is decreased and increases when the panel size is increased.
You can display a border outlining each card and set the position (top/bottom/left/right/all sides), thickness, corner radius, and border color.
You can enable or disable the shadow and set the position and color as well.
Inforiver automatically assigns the scaling factor based on your data. You can override the default scaling and set the scaling factor from the dropdown menu.
Set the precision for the KPI metrics i.e., the number of digits to display after the decimal point.
You can add a prefix or suffix to the KPI. In this case, we have added a $ prefix as the KPI is the sales in dollars for a particular region.
