To add cell-level comments,· either click on the cell to select it, then use the on-object interaction menu, or click on the annotation button and then click on the cell to annotate.
To add canvas-level comments, click on the annotation button and then click on the point in the canvas – this also applies to reading mode.
Hover over an annotation to enable the menu, then choose the edit or delete option.
You can hide all the annotations in a report by enabling the Hide All option.
You can add row-level annotations using the notes column. When you enable the Notes column option, an additional blank column is created at the end of the table to capture notes.
Double-click on a cell in the notes column to enable the rich text editor and enter notes.
You can enable the footnote option to view your report's cell-level notes in a consolidated window.
You can click on the settings icon to customize and format the notes indicators:
Change the indicator type to letters, numbers, arrows, or custom symbols.
Customize the size of the markers.
Change the position of the marker in a cell to left or right-aligned.
Allocate space for the footnote section based on the number of notes in your report.
Define the number of columns to be displayed in the footnote section.
