Inforiver Writeback Matrix Dec 2025 - v4.6.7

Flexible formats for writing back date dimensions

With the latest version, you have complete control over date formatting in Writeback. Users can now choose to apply either the visual’s displayed date format or specify a custom date format when writing back data.

We've added a new toggle in Display settings to configure date formats.

When the Date dimension in YYYY-MM-DD in writeback toggle is turned off, the date format in the visual is preserved and written back as-is. Enable the toggle to writeback in YYYY-MM-DD format.

The screenshots show how dates are written back when the toggle is enabled vs disabled.

You can also enable the Custom Date Format toggle to specify a particular format.

Custom date format used in the visual

The same format will be used in the visual and written back.

Resolved Issues

  • Corrected a problem where formulas were not displayed with the applied filter value when the Filter Context dimension in the Super Filter contained only a single value.

  • Eliminated excessive spacing that appeared between and after comments in the text editor.

  • Improved copy behavior so formatting is preserved when content is copied from one input text measure to another.

  • Addressed a rendering issue where pasted HTML text displayed bullet points only after a double-click.
