Inforiver Writeback Matrix July 2025 - v4.5.5

This release includes enhancements to the subscription scheduler, time interval mapping, data input and forecast measures in the visual, and a few performance and bug fixes.

Enhancements

  1. In addition to PDF, Excel, image, and PPT formats, you can now schedule report exports as CSV files to the desired destinations. CSV exports enable you to export larger reports with up to 700,000 cells.

Check out this section for more information on the data volumes supported by scheduler exports.

  1. Only Inforiver Admin can now enable RLS (row-level security), dataset refresh, and include hidden pages when scheduling exports; other users cannot access these options.

  1. We have included the 'File Name' field in the dynamic subscription configuration page, allowing you to customize the exported file name.

  1. Forecast measures now have a Reset Measure option in the column gripper, just like other measures. This allows you to reset recently entered values and restore them to their original values.

  1. Inserting rows from the semantic model feature has been deprecated, and we have now included an option to fetch row options lists from the Inforiver lookup visual.

Fixes

  1. Memory leak fixes have been implemented in Infobridge to ensure better performance.

  2. As part of our security measures, we have addressed vulnerabilities in this release.

  3. Performance issues in larger reports when inserting data input columns via the 'Import from file' option (for number type) and 'copy from rows' option (for date type) have been addressed. Now, when using these options, report values load three times faster.

  4. Inforiver can now automatically detect most custom date formats, such as DD/MM/YYYY, DDD MMMM YYYY, and so on. Only in some cases is manual mapping required. Previously, if there were any blank values in the row or column time dimensions, manual time interval mapping was required. With this update, Inforiver skips blank values in the row or column date dimensions, allowing for automatic time dimension mapping.

  5. Inforiver reports now support datasets containing more than 100 measures. However, we recommend that users do not exceed 100 measures to avoid potential performance issues.

  6. Reports that included the SWITCH statement in the formula crashed. This problem has now been fixed.

  7. When the forecast measure's open periods, which were integrated into Infobridge, were closed with actuals, the Inforiver visual, bridge report, and destination report—all failed to update. The issue persisted even after a source refresh was performed. This has now been resolved.

  8. Despite enabling the Skip Row option, the skipped row value was included in the total for the forecast measures. This issue has been resolved.

  9. When formula rows were reordered and then pages were switched, the reordered positions were not retained. This has been resolved.

  10. Users with hundreds of workspaces encountered a problem when scheduling reports due to the increased loading time. This has been fixed; now you can quickly see a list of all workspaces while scheduling the report.

  11. Toggling the 'Include in total' option for forecast rows in both open and closed periods had no effect on aggregated totals—when the 'Evaluate Formula For' is set to custom with the 'exclude' option. Totals now update correctly based on the selection. This ensures accurate total calculations for all forecast data.
