Inforiver Writeback Matrix Aug 2025 - v4.5.11
1. Configuring the Expiration Time of Refresh Token in Minutes
You now have more control over when your refresh tokens expire. You can now customize the refresh token's expiration time to minutes instead of days. The minimum expiration time for the refresh token is now 60 minutes, down from one day.
For this, open the Admin Portal > Navigate to Settings. Under the General tab, go to Configurable Expiration Time and set the Refresh Token in minutes.

Refresh token time set to a minimum of 60 minutes.
2. Displaying Variables Labels
Variable names are now automatically displayed by default in the writeback matrix visual when a variable is defined. The Show Label in Variables panel is auto-checked when a variable is defined. You can uncheck this option while defining a variable to hide the label name.

Show Label in Variables Panel is auto-checked

The variable name is being displayed.
3. Scheduling an Empty Report
Write back matrix now lets you schedule, export, and download a report with empty records.
You can now schedule and export a report without any values. This is done by checking the 'Include Empty Records to Export' check box under 'My subscriptions' in the Admin console.

Include Empty Records to Export is enabled.
4. Configuration
Write back matrix now allows you to configure capture and restore all the visual content of the report while exporting the report through the Config option in the Backup section, such as
Custom rows
Custom columns
Forecast measures
Conditional Formatting applied
Writebacks
Except for
Infobridge measures
Scheduled backup measure
All other customisations applied to the visuals can be configured and restored, which will be backed up and made available in the new visual.
5. Pivoting using variables
You can now manage your pivots using variables. Pivot and Variables are linked by using the toggle button while defining the variables.

Enable the Region of Sales variable to Pivot by Region.

Disable the Region of Sales variable to Pivot by City.
6. Key Pair Authentication
Writeback Matrix is now more secure. In addition to the OAuth authentication in Snowflake, we now provide Key Pair Authentication. To do this, click WriteBack > Add New Destination > Snowflake.
Select the Authentication type as Key Pair. Follow the Key Pair Authentication help guide in the right panel to set up the destination, and then click Save Destination.

Add New Destination showing Key Pair Authentication.
7. Conditional Formatting
New and improved direct comparison of the texts in Data input measures is now possible using Conditional Formatting.

Comparison of 2 Data input measure columns are shown.
8. Rephrasing the Insert row as Create Row
Insert rows are now rephrased as Create rows when Data input rows are created. In the Insert Row panel under Row settings, the labels and its descriptions are rephrased as Create rows instead of Insert Rows.

Rephrased Labels are shown.
9. Admin portal Url Access
If you miss out the trailing backslash while configuring the Admin portal URL, Writeback matrix detects and auto-appends the trailing backslash in the environment variable. This saves you the trouble of appending the backslash at the end of the URL and restarting the server every time you miss it out.
In Admin portal URL the trailing backslash is appended automatically to the environment variable, even if the user forgets to add the backslash at the end of the URL while configuring the environment variable. This saves the user the trouble of restarting the engine every time the backslash is missed.

Trailing Backslash is appended automatically at the end of the URL.
