Deployment in different destinations

This section explains the configuration steps required to deploy a report to different destinations.

Let us assume your 'Test' and 'Prod' workspaces use different data sources, and you need to deploy your EDITable report from the 'Dev' data source to these different data destinations. This can be accomplished by following the steps below:

1. Configure the required deployment rules for your semantic model in the Power BI pipeline.

2. Create replicas of EDITable visuals that you want to deploy in these data destinations. Ensure to create them under the same schema and use the same table name.

3. Configure the deployment destinations in the EDITable pipeline stages.

4. Deploy the report through Power BI and EDITable pipelines to move the report across stages.
