The Display Month Count allows users to customize the number of months displayed in the calendar view. This helps focus on a specific set of months, such as a 12-month period.
Follow these steps to configure this feature:
Open the Format Pane and navigate to Date Filter → Calendar → Display Month Count.
Select the desired number of months to be displayed in the calendar visual.
Example: Setting the month count to 12 will display a full year of calendar months in the view. This feature is ideal for tailoring the calendar display to suit specific reporting or analysis needs.
The Display Dates feature in Date Filter allows users to hide the dates displayed in the calendar. Follow these steps to configure this feature:
Open the Format Pane and navigate to Date Filter → Calendar → Display Dates.
Use the toggle button to enable or disable the display of dates in the calendar.
This feature is useful for focusing on the heatmap's visual representation without the distraction of date labels.
The Rotate Layout feature in Date Filter allows users to customize the calendar layout by switching between vertical and horizontal orientations. This is especially helpful when displaying multiple months.
Follow these steps to configure this feature:
Open the Format Pane and navigate to Date Filter → Calendar → Rotate Layout.
Enable to view the Calendar layout in Horizontal View. Disable to have a Vertical layout of the calendar.
This feature provides flexibility to adjust the calendar layout based on user preferences or visualization requirements.
The Round Label Display feature in the Date Filter allows users to display dates in a circular format when the calendar is in Month mode. When enabled, heatmap colors and variance indicators will also be applied within the round labels.
Follow these steps to configure this feature:
Add the Date field to the category section of the Super Filter.
Open the Format Pane and navigate to Date Filter → General and change the Selection Style to Calendar.
Set the Calendar View under Calendar section to Month mode. Once the calendar is in Month mode, the Round Date Label option will become visible.
Enable round date label to view the calendar dates with round label.
When Heatmap is enabled, heatmap colors will be applied inside the round labels.
If variance is enabled, a round variance icon will appear for each date, with quarter sections of the label filled based on the variance level.
This feature provides a visually appealing way to display dates, improving readability and data interpretation in calendar mode.
