The Initial Start Date feature allows users to set a default starting date for the calendar view in Super Filter, providing flexibility in how the calendar is presented based on data.
Follow these steps to configure this feature:
Navigate to the Format Pane section: Date Filter -> General -> Initial Start Date.
In the Initial Start Date dropdown, select from the following options:
Today: When selected, the visual will highlight the current date in the Calendar by default.
Min Date: When selected, the visual will display the earliest date available in the data model by default.
Max Date: When selected, the visual will show the latest available date in the data model by default.
Custom Date: When selected, a text box will appear, allowing users to enter a specific custom date. This date will then be shown as the default initial date in the calendar view.
A retail manager can set the Calendar Initial Date to Today to highlight the current day's sales data by default, use Min Date or Max Date to quickly view the earliest or most recent sales data, aiding in real-time tracking and historical comparisons.
