The Image Filter enables users to display images in the visual, enhancing the interactivity and visual appeal of the filter. It is ideal for datasets, such as product catalogs, employee profiles, real estate listings, event banners, or media libraries, enabling quick and intuitive selection based on images.
Add Image Data:
Insert an Image URL or Base 64 data into the Category Field in the Visualizations pane.
Enable Image Data:
Go to the Format Pane -> Display Settings.
Enable the Image Data option.
The visual will recognize the data as images and display them accordingly.
Customize the Filter Type:
In the Facet Filter, change the filter type to suit your requirements.
Recommended: Use the Tile View Type for optimal image display.
Add Measure Values for Details:
Add measure or dim categories (e.g., image names) to the Others Field in the Visualizations pane.
In Tile View Type, these values will appear as details below the corresponding images in the visual.
This feature provides a visually engaging way to filter and analyze data, particularly for scenarios where images are integral to the dataset, such as product catalogs or user profiles.
