The Tooltip feature enhances the user experience by displaying additional information when hovering over category items, offering deeper insights without cluttering the interface. Here’s how to work with and configure the Tooltip feature:
When hovering over a category item in a Hierarchy Filter, the Tooltip displays values taken from measures inserted into the "Others" field.
The Tooltip dynamically shows data from the selected measure or category, providing quick, context-specific insights.
This feature is available only in the Hierarchy Filter, where it is enabled by default, and is not applicable to Facet Filters, where it remains disabled.
Navigate to the Format Pane in your dashboard settings.
Go to Tool Bar → Tooltip.
Toggle the Tooltip option to enable or disable the feature as needed.
You can enable or disable to show measure values or category data from the "Others" field in the Tooltip.
