23. Row aggregation

You can customize the aggregation method for your hierarchical axis categories. By default, charts and cards use the sum of parent category contributions. However, you can switch this to alternative options like average, minimum, maximum, or first, depending on your analytical needs. In table mode, you can set the aggregation method for the total row.
Navigate to the Data section of the toolbar and click the Aggregation option.
In the images below, look closely at how the Actuals for each year(parent category) change based on the aggregation type.
The row aggregation method will be applied to the grand total row as well as the sub-total rows in the case of hierarchical axis categories.
