Cards - tooltip settings

Customize tooltip settings to display only the information you need, ensuring a clear and focused data visualization.

1. KPI

Enable the KPI toggle to view metrics in the tooltip when you hover over the KPI section. You can individually enable measures and variances using the respective toggles.

2. Show selected series in tooltip

When this toggle is enabled, only the measures selected from the series window will be displayed in the tooltip. Variances will be displayed even if the measure value is not.

The 2024 Plan has been unselected from the series window. When we enable the Show selected series in tooltip toggle, the measure will not be displayed in the tooltip. When disabled, the 2024 Plan is displayed in the tooltip although it is not plotted in the chart.

Enable the Show variances in tooltip toggle to display the variance in the tooltip when you hover over charts that depict variances.

Display: Choose to display the actual variance value and/or the percentage.

4. Show helper tooltips

When you are designing your report, tooltips help you navigate your way around the wide range of options available in Analytics+. When you hover over a toolbar feature, display settings option, or on-object interaction menu, the tooltip tells you how to use the feature.

You can hide tooltips by disabling the Show helper tooltips toggle.
