Create multi-row cards that capture KPI metrics at different granularities. An insight chart is a summary of the sparkline chart displayed as a bullet chart. Let's look at how to insert and configure insight charts.
STEP 1: Select the bullet chart type to be used as an insight chart. Analytics+ supports the Conditional bar, Qualitative bullet bar, Comparative bullet bar, and IBCS bullet bar.
STEP 2: Open the Manage insight chart data interface to configure the actual and target measures. In this example, we've changed the target from 2023 Actuals to 2024 Plan by selecting the associated checkbox.
STEP 3: Define the position of the insight chart. Insight charts are automatically inserted above the sparkline. You can position them below the sparkline as well.
STEP 4: Customize the style and color of the bullet chart. Click Configure > Canvas to open canvas settings for the bullet chart. Click Reset Canvas to undo all the changes and revert to default settings.
STEP 4: Define the scaling, decimal precision and provide a prefix/suffix where applicable. Click Configure > Number formatting to open the number formatting settings for the insight chart.
