Leverage the column settings tab to hide/display fields, assign custom header titles, and adjust column widths in a Gantt chart. For measures, you can also set the row aggregation.
Organize your tasks and sub-tasks better by indenting each sub-task under its corresponding main task.
Enable text wrapping so content fits within the column space without truncation. Overflowing content will be displayed on the next line when word wrap is enabled.
Enable serial or hierarchical row numbers to track how many tasks and sub-tasks are part of the project.
The Name option needs to be enabled to display the task and subtask names. You can set a custom header in the Title textbox. We've replaced the default name with "Task type". You can also adjust the width of the header.
Enable the toggle to display the duration of each task.
Duration unit: Display the duration in seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, or years. We have chosen to display the duration in days.
Decimal places: Set the number of decimal places to display when applicable.
Suffix: Set a custom suffix. We've used a suffix of "days" to indicate that the duration is shown in days.
Actual title: Customize the header of the duration field. We have set the title to "Task duration"
Actual width: Adjust the width of the duration field.
You can set the aggregation method used to calculate the parent row when you display measure values. The default aggregation option is sum, i.e., the parent row will be the sum of the child sub-tasks.
