Show/hide values

Inforiver allows you to hide/unhide cells, rows, columns, or measures from the toolbar in a single click.

Hiding cells, rows and measures

1. Cells

1.1. To hide a cell, click on the cell and then the hide icon highlighted.

1.2 The cell gets hidden. You can also see that the hide icon is highlighted to indicate that the cell has been hidden. Formatting options are also greyed out in the Style and Alignment sections.

1.3. You can hide multiple cells or cell ranges in a single click. Use Ctrl/Shift and click to select non-adjacent or adjacent cells.

1.4 To unhide, select the cell(s) and click on the unhide option.

2. Rows

2.1. To hide one row or multiple rows, select the row(s) and click on the hide icon.

2.2. To unhide, click on the Show/hide dropdown -> Rows -> Unhide icon.

3. Columns

2.1. Select the column and click on the Hide icon.

Multiple columns can be hidden by using Shift/Ctrl + click to select them and then clicking the Hide icon.

2.3. You can also hide individual columns from the column gripper.

2.4. Another way to hide columns is from the Manage Columns interface. Uncheck the columns that need to be hidden.

3. Hiding measure category headers

You can select the measure header and click on the hide icon if you do not want to display headers in your reports. Repeat the procedure to display a hidden measure/category header again.

4. Displaying hidden/skipped rows

To enable hidden or skipped rows, navigate to the Show/hide dropdown > Rows section and click on the respective icon to display the row again in your report.
