#### Header

This option lets you insert gridlines for the column headers. If this option is enabled, then a color picker option becomes available next to it. Using the color picker option you can customize the color of the header gridline.

{% hint style="info" %}
&#x20;The color of the header gridline is the same as that of the horizontal gridlines by default.&#x20;
{% endhint %}

<figure><img src="https://3062809325-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FEbkCXCUXmtUq5tcnUtZE%2Fuploads%2Fsw3PJXoq9AyYj9Dbrfon%2Fimage.png?alt=media&#x26;token=f44fc18b-9de8-45dd-a2f0-0d9f9efc4de7" alt=""><figcaption><p>Header color</p></figcaption></figure>

If you change the color of the header gridline, the color of the horizontal gridlines also gets changed accordingly.

<figure><img src="https://3062809325-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FEbkCXCUXmtUq5tcnUtZE%2Fuploads%2FDuUooFq6hq0iU5CQQIT9%2Fimage.png?alt=media&#x26;token=15e20a1e-107f-47dd-a6fa-7899e4926396" alt=""><figcaption><p>Header and horizontal gridline color</p></figcaption></figure>

#### Vertical

This option lets you insert vertical lines between columns. You can select from the following options:&#x20;

* **Solid -** This option will insert solid vertical lines to the right of each column.
* **Off** - This option will turn off the vertical lines

If the 'Solid lines' option is selected for the vertical lines, a color picker option is enabled. Using the color picker you can customize the color of the solid vertical lines.

In the example, Solid vertical gridlines are inserted and their colors are set to red.

<figure><img src="https://3062809325-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FEbkCXCUXmtUq5tcnUtZE%2Fuploads%2FiSnmh3E6aGtuAapCTip6%2Fimage.png?alt=media&#x26;token=2a09e637-4f05-4805-acf8-f50c5edc08fd" alt=""><figcaption><p>Vertical gridlines</p></figcaption></figure>

### 6. Table padding

This option allows you to insert spacing/padding for the table from the top, bottom, left, and right. Any padding applied will reflect in PDF exports.

{% hint style="info" %}
The minimum and maximum padding values are 0 and 100 respectively.
{% endhint %}

<figure><img src="https://3062809325-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FEbkCXCUXmtUq5tcnUtZE%2Fuploads%2Fmy1aNMrol24hO1cuJbmo%2Fimage.png?alt=media&#x26;token=d2d52a57-fdd7-4a56-9675-b8b6f886dea7" alt=""><figcaption><p>Table padding</p></figcaption></figure>

### 7. Custom date format

You can set a specific date format for date dimensions in rows or columns. Enable the Custom Date Format option to select the format from the Date category dropdown. This option can be used for non-hierarchical date fields, flat date hierarchies, and Power BI date hierarchies.

<figure><img src="https://3062809325-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FEbkCXCUXmtUq5tcnUtZE%2Fuploads%2FUyjBsLYZIJBT9z20UiUA%2Fimage.png?alt=media&#x26;token=8fa79966-a9f2-42a7-ab06-cf9c0514df57" alt=""><figcaption><p>Custom date format</p></figcaption></figure>

You can specify individual formats for year, quarter, month, and day. Expand the Valid formats information box to browse through the list of date formats supported in Inforiver.

<figure><img src="https://3062809325-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FEbkCXCUXmtUq5tcnUtZE%2Fuploads%2F65A4KuJi4yWsFArAkREa%2Fimage.png?alt=media&#x26;token=0d6d1be4-5135-4af4-a5bc-ddaf99f21a97" alt=""><figcaption><p>Custom date formats</p></figcaption></figure>

### 8. Enable canvas rendering

When you have a large number of row and column categories in your report, you can switch to a high-performance canvas grid – making your scrolling and interactions faster and smoother.

<figure><img src="https://3062809325-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FEbkCXCUXmtUq5tcnUtZE%2Fuploads%2FrFhLAKScrt10a6jCBxSR%2Fimage.png?alt=media&#x26;token=069dc95d-8823-4576-9d11-ebed2dda585d" alt=""><figcaption><p>Enable canvas rendering option</p></figcaption></figure>

Please note that when you enable high-performance canvas rendering, the 'Freeze Total' option will be disabled in the [single-page view](https://docs.inforiver.com/working-with-inforiver/8.-paginated-reporting/pagination#i-single-page).

<figure><img src="https://3062809325-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FEbkCXCUXmtUq5tcnUtZE%2Fuploads%2FHIfJgUT9QTB11UPUsvf7%2Fimage.png?alt=media&#x26;token=767a58f4-515f-4244-b2ac-b9635910f82b" alt=""><figcaption><p>Freeze Total - unavailable</p></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="info" %}
You do not need to enable this option in Inforiver Writeback Matrix; by default, a new report is created in high-performance canvas mode.
{% endhint %}

### 9. Localization settings

You can configure translations in Inforiver based on the language settings in Power BI. If your report has a global audience, you can configure calculated rows/columns or column groups to display dimension categories based on pre-defined translations when the language is switched.

Navigate to Display Settings > General > Localization Settings to create translation entries.

<figure><img src="https://3062809325-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FEbkCXCUXmtUq5tcnUtZE%2Fuploads%2FYf0AIDxsj5GLfv2myJ5M%2Fimage.png?alt=media&#x26;token=6bcbc76b-9b11-4f28-9e97-663f9d956a0c" alt=""><figcaption><p>Localization config</p></figcaption></figure>

Use the GETLOCALELABEL function in the Title field and pass the Key specified in the translation config.
