Variable types

Inforiver provides a range of variables to perform operations on your data. In this section, we'll explore the different types of variables and how to use them.

VARIABLE TYPE	DESCRIPTION
Number	Pass a numeric or percentage value to a script or a filter
Select	Choose multiple options simultaneously from a set of choices.
Text	Pass custom text to the visual.
Date	Select a date from the date picker
Date range	Choose a time frame from the date picker
Boolean	Switch between an active and inactive state
